Welcome to the website of the National Assembly for Wales’ Cross Party Group on Human Rights. We hope this site will provide a forum for discussion of human rights issues, as well as being a repository of information and a way of sharing minutes, actions and other information from the Cross Party Group – available to all.
Anyone can attend the CPG on Human Rights. We have already met to discuss work going forward, and have plans to discuss how the Scottish Government tackle human rights issues, consider the role of the Equality and Human Rights Commission in promoting the human rights agenda in Wales, looking at the lack of advice and representation for asylum seekers in Wales, and press for a greater focus on human rights issues at the Welsh Assembly Government.
