Karma Nirvana, sponsored by Mark Isherwood AM (Shadow Minister for Communities and Housing), will be hosting a roadshow on forced marriage at the Assembly. It will provide a snapshot of:
- The prevalence of forced marriage and honour based violence
- The Forced Marriage (civil protection) Act 2007
- A glimpse into a survivors journey, looking at how professionals can empower victims to come forward
